SkillPoint Corporate pricing is based on flat per license fee with volume discounting at different Slab levels. We offer discounted prices at 5 license, 10 license and higher slabs.
 
Platina offers a wide selection of licensing models for SkillPoint to cater to varied segments of the staffing and recruitment software domain. This makes the SkillPoint family of products the best in providing value for your money.

Licensing for different deployment models is as follows:

Perpetual License - One-time Purchase
These licenses are one-time purchase licenses. There is no annual charge for such licenses. However there would additional charges for:
  • Product Support after One year of purchase
  • Trainings and Support Visits not included in the Software Purchase or Product Support Plan.
Software Lease License
These licenses are fixed-duration licenses. The payment for such licenses needs to be prepaid on a quarterly basis.

SkillPoint ONLINE License
These licenses are fixed-duration licenses. The payment for such licenses needs to be prepaid on a quarterly basis.


Common Questions

Q: Why do you charge additional money for every additional license (user)?

A: SkillPoint is a multi-user product with great collaboration and team features. A lot of R&D has been done to design, implement and test multi-user features.

The charge for an additional license covers the following:

  1. “Proportionately” covers our R&D cost.
  2. Cost of additional effort required in installing and configuring multiple users.
  3. Cost of additional Product Support required for additional users.
Q: Why do we not charge a fixed price for any (unlimited) number of users?

A: Such a scheme, even though attractive in principle, would be unfair to an organization where the team size is small. To take care of this, we have followed a model where we charge a small amount initially for the Server Components and the First User, and then add a fixed charge per license as you add more users (licenses). So this way the organizations that use the technology more pay “proportionately” more for it.

As a result, the cost of technology and development gets divided “fairly” and “uniformly” in the SkillPoint user family.


Q: Once you purchase SkillPoint product and the required additional licenses, do you need to pay any recurring fee every year?

A: No. SkillPoint licenses are one-time purchase (life-time) licenses. However, you will need to pay for Product Support for the product on a periodic (annual) basis. This is standard in the staffing and recruitment software industry.


Q: What is covered in the support package that comes with the initial product purchase?

A: With the initial product purchase, you get a complimentary one year SkillPoint Annual Complete-Assurance Pack.

Q: Do I need to pay for product support in subsequent years (after one year from product purchase)?

A: You will need to purchase a Support Pack for each subsequent year. SkillPoint Support Packs are available for one-year duration.
